3 years agoWonderful bartenders, fun atmosphere, nice decor (a bit upscale for a dive, but still fits the category), fantastic prices, and fantastic music playing. If you're a dive bar connoisseur like I am, you will want to come here and you will want to come back again. Great spot, highly recommended! Go and enjoy!

2 years agoGreat local haunt! I was visiting friends in New Jersey and to take the edge off I dipped into this gem. The bartender was personable and made me feel right at home. I recommend the Ghost Hawk lager! Yummy

4 months agoWas my first time here what was some friends crowd was early '20s to maybe 30s for the most part music was good it was a varied coming off of the jukebox I had a beer and we shared appetizer of some wings which are very good and fries. They do have a pool table so it's an option and we will be going back we had fun!

4 years agoHaven’t been there in a while but soon as I walked in the welcome was 100% Skip vibes! Staff was really nice, especially Hanif, and once I realized I knew who makes the chili I damn near drooled on the bar. ERIC IS THE KING OF CHILI, GET IT PEOPLE!! I’m definitely coming back

year agoVibes and the bartenders alone are worth coming here. That aside the food is amazing. Definitely recommend the chili cheese fries 🍟! And the mango habanero wings!

4 months agoNot only is it the oldest building in Clifton, NJ the bar itself is a great little place!! It has a BIG Long bar through the entire place with a bunch of tables also. There is also a billiards table and dart boards!! The owner puts a lot of care into his ingredients so from what I heard all of the food is amazing also! There are a lot of regulars but I still felt welcomed and had a fun time! Give it a try and I'm sure you will enjoy yourself and probably make some new frinds..!!

2 months agoWe’ve been living in town all our lives and we only started going here a few years back (started w takeout food). This place is definitely awesome. The service is great. The drinks are super and the food may be the best bar fare in all of NJ (more than just a tiny menu). While not a full fledged restaurant, we enjoy coming to this place to drink and eat. Fun vibe overall!

3 weeks agoCame here last night with a friend for the first time, and I must say this is the best dive bar I have been to yet! Fairly priced drinks, and friendly and attentive bartenders! Was loud, but not too loud, and was able to converse at the table I was at. Excellent atmosphere too, felt modern without overdoing it! Can't wait to come back.

month agoHuge fan of this place. Great vibe with locals that welcome outsiders. Food is terrific and service great. I've been there 8-10 times and always enjoy my meal and drinks. Burgers, chicken sandwiches, apps all great! Also an incredible spot to have watched the Knicks win the chip!
